Wandering
Water meanders
twists and winds past obstacles
without a worry.
Duckies on the gyre
swirl and spin, carried yellow
mapped dots of currents.
Plant Fractal Chaos
variegates all Nature’s growth
for our survival.
Planets wobble orbit
around the spinning sun while
meteors collide.
Insects dart here, there,
doodling Dali drawings
in the roiling air.
Leaves sway, break loose, fall,
spiral, float, twirl down, down, to
skip across the earth.
Jack rabbits zig, zag
across scrub plain to escape
Eagle’s soar, swoop, dive.
Evolution seeks
improvement so randomly —
better…worse…better.
The Universe is
wandering away and back
for eternity.
I think I’ll wander
too, till infinity pulls
me to the center.
