I love everything that Paulo Coelho writes. And this story about a young woman who wants to develop her female spiritual side while becoming a witch is no exception. The theme of the female side of spirituality is a common one with Coelho and this book explores this and other aspects of spirituality. The book follows the spiritual maturing of the main character, Brida.
