Four Dog Haiku
My master is deaf.
He heeds not my loud barking.
I shall wag my tail.
This dead squirrel stinks!
Maggots crawl, flies buzz. Roll, Roll…
I’m fresh all over.
I feel sleepy, bored.
An ant on my nose, ho-humm…
The doorbell! I’m AWAKE!!!
These muddy paw prints,
Dirt and brambles in my fur;
Home’s where the mess is.
